C-File is an organizational and documentation tool. It is not a law firm, accredited claims agent, or medical provider. Nothing on this platform constitutes legal advice, medical advice, or representation of any kind. Use of C-File does not create an attorney-client or provider-patient relationship.
C-File is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or the Department of Defense (DoD). All content is for organizational and informational purposes only.
You may use C-File to organize your own military service records, medical documentation, and claim-related information. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide. C-File generates documentation based on the information you enter. We cannot guarantee outcomes with the VA.
C-File exists to help veterans present their true experience and real medical evidence as effectively as possible. The platform is not designed to exaggerate, fabricate, or misrepresent any aspect of a veteran's service history or medical condition. All AI-generated narratives are derived exclusively from records and information the veteran provides. Veterans are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of that information.
Using C-File to submit knowingly false or misleading information to the Department of Veterans Affairs may constitute fraud and is a violation of these Terms. Elwin Management Solutions and Ventures, LLC reserves the right to terminate accounts found to be engaged in fraudulent activity.
By using C-File, you agree to:
Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in immediate account termination without refund.
C-File organizes information that YOU provide and generates statements based on YOUR words and YOUR uploaded documents. The platform does not verify the truthfulness of the information you enter. If you submit false or fraudulent information to the VA using statements generated by this platform, you bear sole legal responsibility.
Submitting false statements to the VA is a federal crime under 18 U.S.C. § 1001 and may result in criminal prosecution, fines, imprisonment, and forfeiture of all VA benefits. C-File is not responsible for any claims filed using false information provided by the user. The platform maintains audit records of all inputs and generated outputs, which may be provided to law enforcement or the VA Office of Inspector General upon lawful request.
If your VA claim is denied within 12 months of using C-File for that claim, you can request a reconsideration report at no cost. This is available to every veteran using C-File, with no purchase required. One report per denial event. It covers documentation revision only and does not guarantee a favorable VA decision or constitute legal representation.
C-File is free to use. There are no subscriptions, no plans, and no recurring charges, and we do not require a payment method to create an account or to generate a statement.
You may choose to Support C-File with a one-time contribution after generating a statement. Contributions are voluntary, are not required for any feature, and are processed by Stripe. A contribution is a gift rather than a purchase, so it is non-refundable and buys no product, service, or priority. Nothing is withheld from veterans who do not contribute.
To keep running costs sustainable, statement generation is limited to 5 per day per account. If generation is ever paused because we have reached our monthly support budget, your saved work remains in your account and generation resumes when the budget allows.
